Now in its tenth year of publication, YCF Scotland started life before the dot.com boom/bust era, and has reported the development of many companies which have achieved success over this time, including for example Optos plc, Wolfson Microelectronics, Ardana Bioscience, and ProStrakan.

YCF now holds annual conferences to bring its readership together to discuss broad themes from both sides of the investor/investee coin.

In addition, we are publishing a series of special reports covering particular market niches in which Scotland has internationally recognised strengths. The latest, on the Digital Entertainment sector, has recently been published and will be distributed at relevant events both in Scotland and further afield. It was preceded last year by a Special Report on Life Sciences in Scotland, published in May 2007 for distribution to delegates at the BioEquity conference in Glasgow that month.
